범민제, Minje Beom

I am an astronomer, a researcher studying the Universe. I am studying galaxies which consists of stars, gas, the dark matter using observational data. Specifically, I have mainly analyzed Integral Field Unit (IFU) observation data, spatially resoved spectroscopic data. IFU observation is one of the most powerful observational techniques which allows to study not only the both of stars and gas, but also their distribution and kinematics, simultaneously. My research goal is to understand the formation and the evolution of galaxies by analyzing the distribution and kinematics of stars and gas in their host galaxy.
